We have the new automated system, can cut meat to suit the customers’ requirements and we guarantee that the customers’ stocks are labelled and processed to their individual requirements
Oberon Abattoir is one of only a few abattoirs with the facilities to process livestock and have it packaged ready to eat.
We are currently reviewing the opportunities with export accreditation and upon attaining this milestone will be looking for overseas markets where we can export our meats and skins. We are also able to process our product to Halal requirements.
We have our own team of livestock buyers who travel throughout the countryside and interstate to source cattles and lambs from markets and farmers that will suit our business to maintain a competitive edge. As a livestock buyer at various markets throughout Australia we have a wide selection of weights and sizes of cattle on offer to meet our customers requirements. We have introduced our range of beef specifications processed packed in boxes for supply to your butcher shop. We slaughter and bone our product at one premises ensuring a constant temperature profile and provide a distinct advantage over other operators due to not having to transport carcase product in trucks for varying temperature which affecting bacteria levels hence shelf life.
